This message is to inform you about a research opportunity offered by Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, Italy.

In order to attend the “Vittore Branca” International Center for the Study of Italian Civilization during the period January-December 2024, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice is announcing eight residential fellowships of 2 months each to cover the cost of accommodation, intended for PhDs and postdocs younger than 40 years of age as of June 30, 2023.

 The eight fellowships are aimed, in the multidisciplinary context of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, at Italian and foreign scholars interested in the study of Italian civilization in one of the following areas: Art History, History of Venice, Renaissance Studies, Musicology, Vivaldi music, Ethnomusicology, Literature, Theater, Early Printed Books, Comparative Civilization and Spiritualities, Digital Humanities.
