In the first semester of the second year of study, the first part of intensive individual research (ethnographic fieldwork), under supervision of the mentor (advisor) is done. An advisor (or advisors) guides a student in use of adequate methods and follows his or her activities in the field.
The advisor recommends reading of literature and prepares a list of reading for each student individually, in accordance to the topic of the master thesis.
